Notifications
StorePulse keeps you informed through multiple notification channels. You can configure which types of notifications you receive and how you receive them.
Notification Channels
In-App (Bell Icon)
The bell icon in the dashboard header is your primary notification center. A red badge appears when you have unread notifications. Click the bell to see:
- Alert events -- When an alert rule triggers (e.g., "Daily sales fell below $5,000")
- Support ticket updates -- When your support ticket receives a reply
- System announcements -- Important updates from the StorePulse team
Push Notifications
If you have installed StorePulse as a PWA, you can receive push notifications on your device even when you are not actively using the dashboard.
To enable push notifications:
- Install StorePulse as an app on your device
- When prompted, allow notifications
- Push notifications will be sent for the same events that appear in the bell icon
Push notifications require the PWA to be installed. They are not available when using StorePulse in a regular browser tab.
Email Notifications
StorePulse can send email notifications for important events. Emails are sent to the address on your profile.

Managing Preferences
Navigate to your Profile Settings to configure:
- Which notification types you want to receive
- Whether to receive email notifications for alert events
- Quiet hours (if you don't want push notifications during certain times)
Tips
- Don't ignore the bell: Make it a habit to check the bell icon when you open StorePulse each morning.
- Enable push for critical alerts: If you have set up alerts for serious conditions (very low sales, very high voids), push notifications ensure you find out quickly rather than waiting until you open the dashboard.
- Check spam folders: If you are not receiving email notifications, check your spam or junk folder. Add notifications@storepulse.us to your contacts to prevent filtering.
