Date Range
The date range picker controls which time period you see data for across the entire dashboard. It appears at the top of every page.
Using the Date Range Picker
Click the date range display at the top of any page to open the picker. You have two options:
Quick Presets
Choose from commonly used ranges with a single click:
- Today -- Current business day (data updates every 15 minutes)
- Last 7 Days -- The past week including today
- Last 14 Days -- The past two weeks
- Last 30 Days -- The past month
- Last 90 Days -- The past quarter
Custom Range
Select a specific start and end date by clicking the calendar fields:
- Click the From date field and pick your start date.
- Click the To date field and pick your end date.
- The dashboard updates immediately.
Date Range Persists Across Pages
When you set a date range, it stays active as you navigate between pages. If you set "Last 30 Days" on the Overview page and then navigate to Hourly Sales, you will still be viewing the last 30 days.
Plan Limits on Date Range
Your subscription plan determines how far back you can view data:
| Plan | Data History |
|---|---|
| Basic | Last 30 days |
| Pro | Last 365 days |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
If you select a date range that goes further back than your plan allows, the start date will be automatically adjusted to fit within your plan's limit. For example, on the Basic plan, selecting a date 60 days ago will be clamped to 30 days ago.
Tips
- Comparing periods: The KPI cards on the Overview page automatically compare your selected range to the equivalent previous period. For example, if you select "Last 7 Days," the trend arrows compare this week to the week before.
- Today's data: Data for the current day updates every 15 minutes as the StorePulse agent syncs. Hourly data for today may appear incomplete until end of day when ENCOR consolidates all hours.
- Weekends and holidays: If your store is closed on certain days, those days will show zero sales but still appear in the date range.
